I would agree with you if we lived in a world where evil didn’t exist. But in the world we do live in, such an action seems more like a noble deed rather than just the right thing to do. It truly is the right thing to do, but few people manage to do it, which is why I see it as something deeply noble.
If more people will study and understand the true meaning of Natural Law then we will have a better place. I am not saying that bad people will cease to exist. But we can limit their powers, especially when they have great power over masses (aka politicians).

What are you waiting for? A gov to "declare" natural law as "official" law? Be the change if you want to see the change. Bitcoin didn't start by a gov declaring it as "legal fucking tender"... but by Satoshi sending 50BTC to Hal Finney. Without any others permission or approval.
