Howdy Stackers!
Before moving ahead I wanna thank you once again for making the inaugural SN Annual Awards a grand celebration. Now you might think why I'm back so early with it while it's only the first month. The answer to this lies ahead in what I would like to propose for SNAA 2025. As it's a proposal draft, before finalising I'd like to hear your views. So, please examine it carefully and suggest any improvement you think should be there.
Why SNAA 2025?
- I'm good at creating contests.
- It has the potential to motivate Stackers.
- We as community need to chill a bit by celebrating something exclusive to SNers once a year.
- It brings fun and adds another layer to SN discussions.
- Most importantly it'll be a reminder for all the good work on a monthly basis.
The Proposal for SNAA 2025
1. Categories
For 2024 we had five categories:
- Stacker of the Year
- Rising Star of Year
- Post of the Year
- Meme of the Year
- Territory of the Year
I propose we go ahead with these categories for SNAA 2025
2. Nominations:
For 2024, we had nominations round which imo was loathsome. For example: it was difficult to search for top memes or the emerging Stackers.
I propose we go ahead with SN top filter for SNAA 2025
- But the SN top filter don't provide access to all data like some stackers are hidden.
I propose we select top 10 Non-hiding Stackers.
- How do we know top memes?
I propose I'll make a post on monthly basis with the top 10 memes for 2025 by selecting a custom date range beginning from January 1, 2025.
- How do we select for other categories?
I'll make a post every month sharing the details of top ten for the category for 2025 by selecting a custom date range beginning from January 1, 2025.
3. Voting
I propose there shall be voting for every category but this time we've 10 participants instead of five.
4. The Awards and the Prize
- I'll contribute 10k Sats.
-
- All zaps on the posts for SNAA 2025.
-
- Any Contribution by way of donation to the Awards Pool.
- The Winner
- The winner for each category will be decided by a poll.
Why this post?
- See proposal no. 2.
I hope I've made the proposal with the right words and right intentions. Since it's an proposal about Stackers' Festival by Stackers and for Stackers, I'm ready to listen from everyone, be it a suggestion or criticism. Please go ahead...
