Hello Stackers!
It's Thursday so that means it's Throwback Thursday Time!
I'm going to give you a bunch of clues and I want you to guess the year and comment a song from that year. Highest ranked correct answer (by "top") gets the bounty. Entries close prior to "Feel Good Friday" Post.
🚨A guess without a correct song doesn't win, both your guess and the song must be from the correct year.🚨
Here we go!
  • Formation of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Thomas Beecham and Malcolm Sargent founded the London Philharmonic Orchestra in this year. The orchestra gave its first public concert on October 7.
  • First successful electrical re-recording Nathaniel Shilkret directed the first successful electrical re-recording of an orchestral accompaniment.
  • Opening of Radio City Music Hall Radio City Music Hall opened in Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, New York City on December 27.
And Bing Crosby gave us this wonderful song.

Listening to this track now. Although I wasn't alive during this era, I gotta say, I really really like this era of music. They don't make em like this anymore.
