I made a post asking how to sell BTC in nyc. I tried a few methods, but the most interesting was "go to pubkey and try finding someone to make a transaction with." Here is my experience.

I'm in NYC. Is it even worth it to trade for Bitcoin in person? I can start doing low value trades if it's worth it monetarily? Literally take your bitcoin walk to the bank and withdraw money for 15% why would you goto me over an Bitcoin ATM? What is the common BTC ATM fee? I will seriously do this if someone can convince me. I don't have any money so I'd have to start under $500.

(In hindsight the seller would doxx their address unless one can obtain a po box address? Is that a thing or just in the movies?)

Use Bisq for this as they have an escrow system and the deposit is quite large so the buyer and seller stand to lose a lot if they misbehave. Plus there is a reputation system.

NO! I don't want to use sketchy escrow sites!!
