I don't keep up with eth news but saw the Vitalik was involved in some drama of trying to "turn over" eth foundation to someone else....
I think he sees the writing on the wall.

Funny enough, if you pull up a chart of ETH priced in sats, and look up the date that ETH switched to PoS, you can see the decoupling starting there.
