I learned about butterflies in 3rd grade when my dad brought me an encyclopedia on the animal kingdom. Learning about them, as well as looking at those pictures of butterflies and the stages they go through, was just mesmerizing.
A fun thing to do, whether you have kids or not, is to make a butterfly garden in your yard. The seed packets will say if the flowers are good for butterflies and bees. They are also really colorful.
