I know. They've done awesome open source work after their moat was big and deep and the core of their product is closed and well protected. No shade there and no shade on even fully closed source either. 

Just don't tell people to open source everything when you didn't, don't, and won't do that yourself. Atrocious. 

Keeping the real money mkers locked up tighter than Fort Knox. Open sourcing the tools they don't directly profit from is hardly practicing what they preach. Let me know when they open source their ad platform or user data mining algorithms

Preaching open source after getting rich off closed source is rich as fuck. Easy to tell others to work for free when you’ve already built your empire and cashed out a 'suck it up and make me free shit' move.

I'm a single issue hater in this thread. Profiting off of closed source software, or better yet not being a programmer, then encouraging programmers to give away their work for free is atrocious.
