Okay, so does that mean my wallet would receive a lightning payment even if the app is closed? I'm really wondering if it could be an SN attached wallet option? I don't need it for my Blixt use case.
btw Blixt just released a new version, updating the LND (fixing channel vulnerability) https://github.com/hsjoberg/blixt-wallet/releases/tag/v0.7.1

Yes. Did you activate your LN address in Blixt? You can test with that.

Not yet for sending. Only if they activate NWC. You still can use Blixt with WebLN on mobile for SN. Is not so elegant like NWC but for mobile can be an alternative. But for receiving you can use the @blixtwallet.com LN address.

My wallet doesn't stay open consistently despite being on persistent. It must be my app permissions on graphene, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions? Maybe @final can shine some light on the situation?

I am on GrapheneOS too. These are the permissions for Blixt I have and my Blixt is always in persistent mode (during the day only)
Did you see the notification on your taskbar?
reply
I have notifications off. I turned it on just now.
reply
Yes, I have the lightning address. Maybe I'll play around with it.

Another tip of the day :) 2 Blixt users can have a private communication over their Blixt LN address, attaching a message. How?
  • Add in your Blixt - Contacts your peer address, for example darthcoin@blixtwallet.com
  • send 1sat or as much as you like to that contact and attach a message. Optional you can attach your Blixt "alias" (see in Settings - name) or your Blixt LN address. It can be different.
  • the peer will see your message and also the sender "name/alias".
Keep in mind that both Blixt users must have activated "persistent mode" in order to be able to use LN address communication.
Blixt (as SN) is fully supporting LUD-18 (nameDesscription). Is a very nice feature that can be useful in specific cases.
