The Border 2 fire kicked off yesterday in Otay Mountain wilderness and has burned up over 1,000 acres and counting with ZERO percent containment. Unlike the fires area LA this wildfire has a new issue… its isolated and thus lacks the resources required to fight the fire quickly and efficiently. Cal Fires resources are spread thin at the moment with the number of blazes they are tackling and so this new fire a couple of hours away is an issue.

Thankfully the weather is going to change the next few days to give firefighters some relief with fire fighting but the rain is a curse as much as it is a blessing with mud slides and flash flooding now being a huge issue.
