Agreed. It wouldn't surprise me if the leadership of Greenland agrees to the proposal. Having US Senators, House of Reps + being the Gov of a US State is probably far greater political power than their status with Denmark now.
They may like it, especially if Trump’s US government bribe is high enough. I can’t see it being too expensive, though. There are only, like 40K people there and Denmark is constantly taking money from them and returning little. The Danish reps don’t seem to like having the offer being made, though. I saw a video of one telling Trump to F off.
