I haven't paid much attention to the political side of things, but it'll be interesting to see who emerges as having more bitcoin maxi positions through all of this. Don't know much about Lummis---does she understand the difference between "bitcoin" and "crypto"?

Yes, I think she does, but from a legislating perspective she really doesn't have much of a choice to put them in one basket. It will be understandable.

Yeah, understandable from her perspective but I'm wondering now what are the policy levers to properly separate bitcoin from shitcoin.
