Makes sense to me. As a wrestling fan, I love gimmick matches, and the NFL's never really done a two-on-one game before.

Well, I'm guessing the "give one player a gun" from The Last Boy Scout would go over poorly, as would the "exploding field" from The Dark Knight Rises. But man, the fun they could have with a good old no-dq match.
