BACKUPS!!! this is a ritual i do every January (when the weather is shit anyway). duplicating all hard drives - backing up all photos, etc.. AND semi annual backing up of all phone photos to hard drives. an additional copy of HD gets moved to a separate location in case of flood/fire/etc..

Nice! We have a similar ritual.

Usually a privacy cleanup. Going through password manager, deleting unused and old accounts, changing some PWDs, checking up on security, 2FA, and part of that is some sensitive backup.

Also usually do it in january, starting during the holidays.
