One of the things I didn't understand when I first began losing weight was that you can't out train a bad diet. I really had to reduce my caloric intake pretty significantly, which leads me to the tip of the day.
Stop drinking your calories. As it turns out, most people see results just by cutting out liquid calories. They do nothing to fill you up, and in some cases can even trigger cravings for more junk food.
If you want a very easy way to take your first step into losing weight, start there, and see how you do.
In particular, stop drinking sugars or other simple carbs. It's so easy to down enormous amounts of calories that way.

I know some people have success with carnivore diets. Personally, I did very well with a balanced diet.

To each its own. I don't balance anything when it comes to animal products, but eat whenever hungry 🫠

The caloric deficit is everything in terms of weight loss, liquid calories, for example from soda are the worst, eliminating sugar completely or almost completely from your diet will make you lose weight very quickly, along with a good cardio routine.
