One, most people were reacting to a single frame and hadn't bothered to watch the video.
Two, that's not a Nazi salute in the video. It just overlapped in the eventual arm angle. Nazi salutes didn't start from a palm on the heart and then a chop outwards.
More importantly, it makes no sense at all to think he's going to be intentionally doing Nazi salutes in public.

You are dead right. At best it kinda made you think of a Nazi salute.
People believe what they wanna believe. I have never liked Musk. I don't trust him and think he's pretty shady. None of that matters if I have the wrong opinion.
