For the three Germans here:
In this episode, Stefan asks questions about how to explain bitcoin to no-coiners. Especially kids! We will have him as a guest at my school and he will help me with my school project in February! We will try to educate +90 kids about bitcoin and give everyone a wallet and sats, which we want to collect in donations beforehand.
Sorry, it's only available in German. But maybe there is some AI magic going on here to help you with this podcast.
Stay humble, stack sats!

Have you decided what wallet you are going to use for the kids?

We need a non-KYC wallet that is suited in Europe. We thought about Phoenix (for self custody) and wallet of Satoshi (custody) and they can choose. But I'm open for all suggestions!

I would also suggest blink for 2 reasons
  • Blink has option to register with phone, faster than email, maybe not all kids have an email (although of course phone number is less private than email in WOS)
  • Blink has educational material built into app, they can do some fun education and then pass the test and earn some extra sats This can go hand in hand with your preliminary lecture about future self custody, not sure what age / grade you are targeting, but I think new generation lose interest if they need more than 30 seconds to configure something before it's working, Phoenix can be really a frustrating experience for them
