It took 70 years for the existing fiat infrastructure we have to be built out.
When we were kids we could exchange things for grains in our villages here. I remember it was very much prevalent till 2000 - 2005.
This is a great point to tell someone who asks why it's so early for Bitcoin when it's already 15 years. If fiat took 70 years, we should at least give 30-40 years to Bitcoin.
