Personally, I'd be in the same place, just with more usless shit cluttering my house.

Neck deep in silver!

reply

At least you were doing that! I wasn't saving shit.

reply

Tennessee Stacker started with silver and gold.

reply

Ha! Me too.

reply

I think everyone that has gotten into btc was into silver and gold before. We have that kind of mindset.

reply

Silver will always be a good investment. Gold, too. Very solid.

reply

Still be stacking gold and silver and waiting for the apocalypse.

reply

Meanwhile, I'm the only asshole on SN who's plan was to just work until I die.

reply

Well I had my own business before. I sold it in early 2022. I don’t think I would have made the leap and completely change my lifestyle from a city dwelling, fiat chasing, workaholic to a small town living, semi retired, stacker news and family time aholic without finding bitcoin.

You can read more about it here. #417967

What type of business?

reply

Facilities maintenance/management. We did a bit of everything relating to commercial properties besides the leasing/contract side of things.

reply

Awesome, care to fix up my house a bit since you have all this new found free time? @realBitcoinDog said he would pay for it. Just send him the bill.

reply

You want @gnilma. He is a master carpenter!

reply

Sure, just subcontract him. Price is no issue.

Without bitcoin, I would have killed myself a long time ago.

reply

You're not the first person with a similar response. Considering how much it's changed my life, I can see how it has given people hope and a reason to look forward to the future.

I'm happy you found it when you did.

reply

The big difference is that I'd still be heavily focused on the political sideshow and frustrated by not having any real options for making the world better.

reply

Dude! The shit I've learned about politics in this last half year is bone chilling. I'm completely out of the game now.

reply

Yeah, I was already about as red-pilled as possible, but I didn't realize how much of the solution was being built .

reply

lost and bored

reply

I was definitely directionless.

reply

I'm still lost and bored but less so because of bitcoin and MSTR

reply

I’d probably be getting more involved in video games or local government.

reply

@realBitcoinDog for president

reply

You’re on the short list for VP

It’ll be a strong man competition

reply

My first act as VP would be the strategic bitcoin reserve. I'll supply the address, don't ask questions.

reply

Of course

reply

If you are a hodler, would it make much of a difference? IF you havent ever cashed out, you are still at a net negative.

reply

I only started buying bitcoin in June of last year. I've been full gas since.

reply

I think I will eternally be at a net negative.

reply

7 feet under the ground

reply

Really? That sounds like a story...

I'd be buying more stocks, basically AMD instead of selling them for BTC and LTC.

reply

Why LTC?

reply

Because it's POW with a different cryptographic algorithm (not competing) than BTC's, and I think it nicely complements BTC in my portfolio. Also, because it has MWEB for privacy, which I really like.

reply

Living paycheck to paycheck, possibly juggling credit card debt too

reply

I'd be working many more hours...selling my time for some dirty money.

reply

Personally, I would still be under the fallacy of fiat money, working like crazy every day without knowing why things are getting more expensive and why money would allow me to buy fewer things as time goes by.

Same place I am now but with slightly more disposable income each month, and a negative net worth
