The article can be taken together with my another article today which suggested that women are more woke than men.
Here's one more side effect of woke culture that we're facing right now is a dilemma in itself.
...good men from all times prefer modern-style women, and good women from all times prefer modern-style gender norms and roles. (Though it’s okay for a woman to be attracted to a traditional man, if she teaches him to respect her modern ways.) See this satire:
It isn’t just that we at some point decided to stop enslaving women, and then stuck with that. Today’s gender norms are quite complex and high dimensional, and often embrace gender asymmetries.
  • TV ads make men look stupid, but not women.
  • Shared toilet seats down, not up.
  • Men are to carry items for women, escort them if danger.
And this is how....He goes on to mention a bunch of scenarios you can't disagree.
Can you?
Is it why we should call it a social construct?
Or simply this?
...good men from all times prefer modern-style women, and good women from all times prefer modern-style gender norms and roles. (Though it’s okay for a woman to be attracted to a traditional man, if she teaches him to respect her modern ways.) See this satire:
I don't know if this is really true. I know plenty of men who prefer traditional women and women who see themselves in traditional roles.

Well in the context of what writer's claiming through this article, is true.

I think the mistake most of us make is not acknowledging we do not have one culture but many cultures. Some clash with others. Some exist in the same geographic areas. It's a mess and I don't think this is acknowledged very often.
Historically geography played a much strong role in limiting the clashing of cultures but with wealth and transportation that's no longer a barrier. Then add the Internet and you can export culture globally.
I don't think humans have accepted this consequence of the Internet fully.

Humanity is the virtue of a woman, generosity of a man.
