What's different here is that this gigantic scam is orchestrated by the future 47th President of the United States of America. This is unprecedented in history, and you should prepare yourself for 4 years of unique experience once Trump is inaugurated tomorrow, January 20, 2025.
Unique experience indeed.
Bitcoiners expecting to saddle their wagons to this star will find themselves performing very interesting mental acrobatics in the coming years. It's been something to see already.

I'm hoping honey badger still don't care. This might be the ultimate proof of its antifragility. I understand we live in a two team country, but a little nuance would have been nice before inviting the carney show into our tent.

Yeah, my default expectation is that it will be fine, the only question is on what timescale. If there's a giant backlash in 4 years from over-the-top shitcoinery and corruption, then we'll get to deal with that fallout.

Crypto is a gambling casino. And the casino-runners... well they're celebrating. Big time!
Think of all the coins they'll sell and who's going to stop them? The SEC? No way! They're going to get rich selling tokens! And the biggest marketer of 'cryptos' is of course the new president :) He has his own, which he created out of thin air for zero cost and it's selling out.
Crypto is really on a roll!

Yeah... It's disappointing that we will likely be associated with these retards.

This... is what the Trump voters wanted though. I wrote about this back in November #754978
"My friends, my fellow Bitcoiners. Need I remind you of what Donald Trump really represents... Shitcoinism"
However (some) Bitcoiners said Trump would 'help Bitcoin' well OK. But I'm not sure this kind of publicity helps. All the major news articles will never mention the stark differences between 'crypto' and Bitcoin. People will have to find out for themselves after getting... rugged.
The really crazy thing is how the Trump campaign was all about 'looking out for the little guy' and 'the working class' and the people 'abandoned by the dems' etc etc...
And now Trump co makes an overnight-billion memecoin where they own 80% of the supply. The irony here is unbelievable.

You called it! Not sure why this is the con man people trust.

because you live in a bubble and consume lame stream media like Rachel Maddow

Since we're all about 'facts' and 'laser-focusing on sound money' here: Our new leader's first financial move is launching a pump-and-dump where his family controls 80% of supply with not one mention of a BSR anywhere. Truly '💩 coins First,' not 'America First.' For anyone still spinning this as 'but at least it's pro-crypto' - the dude literally created a memecoin grift before even taking the oath. I'm just not impressed by scammy token pumps.

How can you tell a bitcoiner from a wanna-be-bitcoiner? Today the wannabees are scrambling to distance themselves from the Trump shitcoin fiasco. Check their youtube & twitter feeds... all posting, "oh, but I just HAD to vote for the shitcoiner because the alternative is so much worse".
Hey douchebags, the alternative is BITCOIN.

I voted for Kamala. And I would again if I could

how many times did you vote for Kamala? 10? 100? and Trump still won

stackers have outlawed this. turn on wild west mode in your /settings to see outlawed content.
It's funny that the literal president launches an obvious unapologetic scam.
Imagine Reagan launched an obvious magazine subscription scam in the 70s. Like were you buy 1 month but fine print says you agreed to subscribing for 2 years? That's basically what the unhinged level of $TRUMP is lol

I'm relying on the honey badger.

Meme coins are free money for popular figures. It could cause a sell off on his meme stock. He may have over monetized his meme capabilities. We are also not going like what happens with Ripple.
Bitcoin is the only sound money and it will continue to win on its merits. Enjoy the increased buying power stackers.

Remember that Mr Trump wants 'America made' cryptos like... XRP and USDT. None of those scammy 'foreign made' ones like Bitcoin! (which anyone can make anywhere in the world with enough cheap energy)
So... XRP, the new $Trump memecoin maybe Tether... this is the future! Who knows maybe the next strategic crypto reserve will be composed of Tether and XRP!!

I guess we are still early
