# Fun and Controversial  Pizza History 

Italians stole the pizza from the greeks, brought it to Naples and in June 1889, when the Royal Palace of Capodimonte commissioned the Neapolitan _pizzaiolo_ Raffaele Esposito to create a pizza in honor of Queen Margherita visit[^1].
