It's always a trade off, but... with those small amount (for a routing node), maybe using the "dual" from https://lightningnetwork.plus/swaps to coordinate and double the size.
But before that... which implementation of LN are you going to use? are you going to have a clearnet only connection, Tor... or both?
What are your objective? stack sats (routing fee)? or using to develop something on top of that?.

probably LND as I am the most familiar with it

definitely clearnet and maybe tor but not sure I'll need it
