In the olden days of communism, people were enslaved explicitly and killed quickly. In the golden days of communism, people are enslaved implicitly and killed slowly.

Some of the more efficient practices have been actually successful in convincing people that their enslavement and (un)timely death of themselves and/or their (unborn) children is a good thing for themselves and for the planet.
