Don't you think that inside those noisy posts could be found any good thing time to time? Or you would mute every noisy user with the cost you loose some good stuff from any of them?

Its possible and sometimes I click on the little eye to see what a muted user says but honestly... in the grand scheme of life very little people write is gonna be life changing. Not very worried about it. I mute pretty seldomly btw.

Gonna add, you are pretty new here. Welcome! I am not the most prolific but I'm not a causal user either. People's rep here matters and you begin to see patterns. If you write and think deeply about your stuff as I do when you waste time with noise you are neglecting thoughtfully written content written by other stackers.
Hope that helps. Mind you, I'm not telling anyone they should mute more or less. Just what I do.
