Incredible timing. I'm putting together a post that talks about Stone Ridge, among other things. I was at their offices this week and heard Ross Stevens speak for the first time. You could sense that everyone in the room revered that guy, even though he showed up late for the talk. He impressed the hell out of me. I'll add more detail in my post.

Let me tell you, fancy doesn't begin to describe what I saw. You touched on something that has been rolling around in my head since I went to this presentation. I don't want to be a jackass right off the bat, but ANY pejoratives directed at the yuppies, considering these chosen few, and their workplace environment, can't help but come off as at least a little hypocritical.

It's taking me so long to organize my thoughts. I don't want to give a negative impression. I'm ambivalent.
Stone Ridge is, I guess, the umbrella, but I was in a small room with principals from Ego Death, Time Chain, Wolf, NYDIG. Maybe I'll break it up into a few posts.
