But if you mute someone, when they comment about something, you wouldnt be able to see it. Especially if they comment about something that you are interested in, wouldnt that be a shame to not see it? I think it is better just to ignore them.

And what if you miss a post about something you might be interested in because you were too busy scrolling through slop?

There is too much here. By now, I know many of the users here on SN. I am able to tell which are making good posts, and which arent. But there will always be some that slip by. Its life.
