I have wondered the same thing. I came during the march madness, and everyone was posting and commenting like crazy. There was so much content. The attrition rate is pretty high, though.

It brought a lot of unwanted people to SN. But I also believe it might have incentivized people in the wrong way. This is a pay to post sight.

yeah, i stumbled accross SN from an alby link or something, made a snyde comment about Germany on one of Tomk's posts and then noticed i had some sats the next time i checked lol
