16 years ago, SATOSHI posted this message to sourceforge - Announcing Bitcoin V0.1 - This sourceforge announcement is almost identical to the Cryptography Mailing List announcement, posted on January 8th 2009. There are a few grammatical differences and a different download link for the Bitcoin program, but other than that, the message is the same. 21 million coins and no more. The fun thing about this sourceforge announcement is that it appears to have been forgotten. The record for it is not accounted for by The Nakamoto Institute @NakamotoInst, The Book of Satoshi, @egg_descrambler, or even Kicking The Hornets Nest @crrdlx. Perhaps it should be added to the Satoshi history books. Makes you wonder what other forgotten digital artifacts are out there.
