Interesting to see this come out now many months after the fact... For a while it seemed only Trump and the Republicans were getting hacked or attempts made on them but now that might not be the case.

The other idea is that this was used to by the US government to get into all of the protestors phones which could easily also be true.

Between the two options I'd say its a toss up who was responsible.
