I second this suggestion. I've thought about doing something like this on one of my domains as well.

The great advantage of GitHub pages is that edits can be suggested by anyone but ultimately the decision comes down to you to decide if it's included or not. This lets you carefully curate the content and keep out spam and junk.

Just a few knowledgeable Bitcoiners could be tremendously helpful on this style of site. I'm interested if you decide to do this.
