More and more events like the California Fires will occur and insurance will become increasingly expensive if not impossible to obtain. Failure of insurance undermines the entire debt based fiat monetary system and its derivative financial markets- but 'the market fixes everything' Libertarian extremists refuse to see the looming human and economic catastrophe they are enabling. Libertarians refuse to acknowledge Climate Change because to do so would be to acknowledge the Urgent Need for collective government lead action. The causes of Climate change cannot be addressed by the Libertarians beloved market forces because the industries that profit from activities that drive climate change have zero market incentive to reduce GHGs. This fatal flaw in Libertarian dogma is not only obvious but threatens our lives and security. Libertarians fail to see the considerable effect nation states and their actions have upon our lives and the wealth of nations. Market forces are not the only drivers of wealth and security- but Libertarians cannot acknowledge this as it runs contrary to their irrational dogma.
