At what point do you bring in Manning permanently? If Texas gives up a TD on the first drive and then goes 3 and out I could see Manning getting a whole drive to see if he can spark them.

Pistol from the 1 yard line on 2nd down is insane.
I mean if you want to pass to try and surprise the D on 2nd down so you play action out of the pistol but everyone is expecting a run and then you hand the ball off 6 yards from the line of scrimmage. Just asking for trouble and they got it.
