The customer support team replied, saying that they do not accept BTC. They suggested buying a gift card through a store using BTC, but I didn't get an option to make the payment over Lightning. I had to do it on the main chain(sheesh). This was a BTC pay invoice. Mission successful nonetheless, I guess :)
It is so surprising that even companies that help run BTC nodes, such as Umbrel, do not accept BTC as a payment. I think only Start9 and MyNode accept BTC. How can they claim to be helping with BTC adoption without accepting it as money? Double standards!
