Spot on. It's amazing how we trick ourselves into the mindset that the future spans into infinity.

Normally I am just yearning to travel around the world. But if I were dying, my decision would ironically be different. I would just want to spend as much time as I can with my wife and kids

Honestly, he could have just found a non KYC exchange, there would be no need to launder the money, his wife could just say that he mined it in the early days if she decided to pay taxes on it.
