Government (state) incompetence has been on massive display for anyone with a brain to see for the past few months. Between the floods, the truck attack in New Orleans, and these fires.

I have a lot of thoughts about fires in this state. Grew up here and have watched the changes and the impacts. Also the messaging around them. There are factors that almost never are discussed. Thinking about writing up my thoughts. My heart goes out to those that have suffered loss made worse by their so-called leaders. These so called public servants and their policies sicken me.

The reality is that the problem is deeper than DEI. That's an easy whipping boy and I get it. Its probably a factor. There are deeper incentive based issues at work that long pre-date DEI.
