They probably give you some really great odds initially to get you sucked in and then as you point out have just marginally better odds than normal.

Yeah that’s the thing you have to bet to recoup the $20 for better odds. Those promo bets are offered to get you in the door. What I imagine is say a favorite is -250 I bet with a subscription you get -225 MAYBE -210. Draft kings has to make money too
