Never tried nostr crossposting. Usually I just copy paste into a nostr note if I want to highlight something I posted or something posted in the territory.
Currently, crossposting requires a browser extension as a signer. We have a PR up to use remote signers for crossposting, so if you're familiar with using those we should have that deployed soon.
