Seriously, if you can make it work I'd be willing to test out a sub for a stacker. I'm not sure if there's a practical limit on how many subs can be handled on one node?

Probably mostly a matter of managing liquidity well. All those invoices eventually take up a lot of disk space and can make restarting lnd slow too. SN's lnd node takes 10 minutes to start.
