In my opinion, we should start by creating grassroots local trade networks in our communities and then link those trade networks with each other. Each specialty within these trade networks should have a guild like system for training new hires and promoting them to the next position. These trade networks then become attractive options opposed to massive college debt. I also believe these trade networks should have good relationships with trade schools.
