Now we will get a couple months of the Liberals trying to dominate public attention with their silly leadership search. Clearly they have someone in mind or Trudeau wouldn't be stepping down.
All that matters is an election getting called asap and getting a new majority government in place focused on trying to repair the mess Trudeau has made over the last 9 years.

Am I missing something? Trudeau prorogued the parliament for 3 months… then resigned pending a replacement. But they’re forced out of session by the prorogue, so did he just give himself 3 months as an unaccountable, lame duck, dictator?

He is a politician so I am cautious but he is the most impressive Canadian politician in a long time. I am hopeful.
