I hope robotics can help offset the struggle, and it has to some extent, but the power always condenses.
I'm seeing a lot more self serve kiosks at fast food restaurants, but the user interface is pretty poor and it usually takes longer to order than with a human clerk.

Yeah, going to a fast food place like McDonalds (which is actually fine for someone eating carnivore, you just get the 100% beef burgers) is tough now.
You can't get plain burgers through the kiosk, so you're left with standing around in front of the rarely used cash register, trying to call out to the folks prepping the food, in the back.
It probably sucks for older people too, who can't navigate the kiosks very well.
