Hello Stackers!

It's Monday so we're back doing "Meta Music Mondays" 😉.

From before the territory existed there was just one post a week in a ~meta take over. Now each month we have a different theme and bring music from that theme.

This month it's New Year New Artists! Bringing you small time artists with great music.

This week we have Skar - Down by the river. From Baldurs Gate 3. Fantastic musician, really great producer of music. I always enjoy his covers.

Oh cool! Yeah I really liked their sound, I definitely hear RHCP or audioslave or that kinda if era influence in their sound. They're doing great.

I've not heard him before but I really loved that solo. Just so good, and his voice is excellent.

I hope it qualifies. I've always loved this song and how Casal totally changes everything in the middle.

Hmm. I'll go with Pokey. I'm not very familiar with his music, and it's a little out of my general playlists, but I don't hate what I've heard.

I should probably give his other stuff more of a listen sometime.

This is so nostalgic for me. Massive 90s track. Kinda. One hit wonder, I can't think of any other tracks of theirs.

Funny enough, pretty sure the leader of that band hated being popular, was annoyed that people were more upset about the lyrics about beck and Hansen instead of the stuff about healthcare). So he actually never released any other music with The New Radicals. I think he still writes for other people/bands or produces. I could be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere. That whole album is actually pretty good. I like the song "Mother, We Just Can't Get Enough".
