I'll have to admit i was baited by the pod title here, being relatively new to the space and unfamiliar with Carvalho's nuanced thinking. I feel I learned a lot from listening to him.
Having recently synced a server node, the take here hits especially close to home.
if you're actually so super concerned about the scaling of bitcoin long term there's no reason why you shouldn't be trying to make hard drives cheaper, innovating on ways to store data, and innovating on ways to transmit data.
