That's what I thought, too, until they cut the rent in half. Now, an outright buy is six years of rent. Even my time preference isn't that low.

Maybe so and k00b has made it clear that he doesn't want people buying territories outright. Still, I do like the other elements of the idea, even now that I am a territory owner.

With a community setup like this, I think that the cost to found for life should increase substantially to something like 10 million sats.
