And I thought my first NBA power rankings two weeks into the season were way too early. ESPN says hold my beer with power rankings before rosters are even set for Spring Training.
I don’t hate them but I think they are too bullish on the Guardians and Dbacks and too bearish on the Brewers, Rangers and Twins.
Next week I will begrudgingly do a post about why the Yankees are better even though they lost Soto. Yuck.
Let me know what you think of the rankings and if I should do my own now or wait until Spring Training.
Sats for all, GR
They're also way too bullish on the A's, but hard to feel too upset there.
But yeah, way too early. Hell, until Bregman, Alonso, and Sasaki have landing spots, a ranking seems almost pointless.

A’s have picked up a few decent pieces. I think a bit bullish but they should at least be a little better than last year.

A low bar, but true.

I think they are to bullish on the Astros.... I mean yes everything could work but that is a huge huge if. Also what is up with the Mets falling to the bottom half?!?! They added Soto which is a huge huge plus and easily covers an Alonso loss. They had good starting pitching and they have depth in the minors.... so I am pretty confused by there huge step back

What do you mean? They have the Mets 4th.

Then what is this part right under that
Way-too-early 2025 ranking: 18
The way to early 2025 has the Orioles at 4

That was the last one done. Looks like it was right after the season ended projecting for 2025. That would have been before free agency.

Well, we can start fantasizing, can’t we?
