Look how early things can can go ugly in Cricket, hailed as gentlemen's game. But this is just the side of coin Australian media would show you.
Jasprit Bumrah has never looked angrier.
Having found the edge of Usman Khawaja’s bat with the last ball of day one at the SCG, his wicket celebration was directed not at teammates, nor the departing opener.
Instead, Bumrah turned straight around to the non-striker’s end to direct his ire towards 19-year-old Sam Konstas, in reference to what he clearly felt had been unreasonable attempts to prevent the bowling of another over.
Here's the truth. The Kid by the name Sam Konstas has been sledging against Indians all throughout the last test match that ultimately Australia won.
In the second innings of the previous test and also in this test while India was batting, he continued running his mouth. Australia has always been like him except for a few years after great Ricky Ponting retired. It seems that with Konstas the Old Australia is back on the field and with them is the best of sledging. But this is also not old cool India players like Tendulkar, Dravid or Lakshman who would only smile back and let their bat answer. This India team won't do more but also won't be less vocal than the Kangaroos.
The real reason why Bumrah was super aggressive after taking the wicket of Khwaja on the final delivery of day one
So, the media from both sides is out with a lot of pepper reporting but it is just an old tactics by batsmen to somehow delay the game near the day end so they don't need to face another over. In Australia's case today, they only had to come out for 15 minutes which are enough for 4 to 5 overs. But it only could see 3 overs and before the last two balls of the last over they started deliberately delaying lest they should face another over.
But Bumrah didn't require another over, he knocked out Khwaja and had his revenge which he celebrated a little aggressively. That's it.
Australia is still ahead in the game but all depends on Australia batters on a greenish swinging wicket which will equally assist India bowlers. If India don't let Australia take a massive lead in the first innings, Australia can't win it coming back in the fourth innings.

It seems like a bowling friendly pitch. Tomorrow, India must aim to restrict Australia to a small lead or even a slight trail before coming in to bat. About Konstas, he is not at his level to argue with Bumrah.

After all this drama that they are putting in, they need to be expecting a Bumrah show in the morning. Mark my words, Australia will fold below 150.

Finally a story about some good sledging.

Thanks. I think it's important to reveal the truth. The Australian media is cursing Bumrah for he's murdered someone.

Konstas is just trying to get everyone's attention. He's overloading everything.
When Khwaja was batting, what's the purpose of Konstas waving his hand towards Bumrah. If Khwaja wasn't ready he could tell or stop.
I think this baby needs to learn lot of lessons about manners. If he doesn't he'll require belting.
Well done Bumrah! Well done Team India! The ultimate cinema in cricket today.

Yes, it was entertaining. Did you watch Scorchers vs Thunder. That collision of Sams and Bancroft is another big moment, not entertaining but unfortunate.
