So you’re saying that people not should storage sats them in a hot wallet and then suffer hacking. Later put FUD/fault against Bitcoin? Sorry, you’re being very ignorant in this point. Exist SeedSigner is best DIY IMO. Of course, exists also Bitbox Bitcoin-only version. Anyway, I’ll always people buy or build hardwallet.

Seed signer is superior for several reasons:
Open source software with cool features
Seed not stored on the device
If you do it right, you have a pi zero without any wireless capability, so air happened
Pi zero had been around for ever and I feel way better ordering an unsuspecting neutral devic
Cold wallets have a place, but I believe most serious Bitcoiners will leave them behind in time, except maybe the seed signer. Another option is tails OS on a flash drive, which although have yet to try that.

The probem with SeedSigner is the camera module, it has low quality/focus and you cant reliable scan the smaller QR codes. I gave up on my SeedSigner.

Damn... even my laptop webcam can't scan the signed txs for an airgapped sparrow flow. Have had to plug in my phone and use it in webcam mode...

get a Pixel device and install grapheneos, install all the security updates, install BlueWallet, turn off internet and remove SIM, and use it as an airgapped signing device
