U.S. is the dictator of the world and the us dollar is the life blood of that regime. If USD Stablecoins were to become more widely adopted by more countries in the world it would only spell more funding for wars, genocides, pedophiles, murderers, and more poverty and drug epidemic in the U.S since those are direct results of the dollar being the reserve currency as it only benefits a small group of Unelected Bureaucrats in US(The banks).
Saylor is playing nice to these people bc he is either afraid of them or he wants to become one. He wants 20% of the Bitcoin supply (or mining network) to be centrally owned by US whitch can only hurts Bitcoin in the long run, F*ck that guy, it's time for a push back. BTW I am a fan Saylor on everything else but he's gone way to far Slay your heroes.
He doesn't want Bitcoin to be used for day to day payments that hurts his lovely dollar but he wants to centralized it in the hands of blackrock and coinbase. Again F*ck that, we need Bitcoin to be exempt from the unfair capital gain taxes so more people can use it freely as a medium of exchange. A bitcoin held by the US govt only benefit the same group of unelected bureaucrats not the people.
I am not saying Bitcoiners should declare war on the banks that would be foolish since they are still too small but we should not ask the banks or govts how to live our lives, Bitcoin wouldn't created if Satoshi were such a personality.

Saylor just wants to pump his bags. Anyone who thinks he's never going to sell is crazy.

is more than just "pumping the bags"... you should be careful with his words and pay attention to what is saying that sneaky bastard.

I agree. The more Iearn about this guy the more I want him to just go away.

I screamed and warned about him from long time ago... even from 2021 in this old post https://telegra.ph/LendingBorrowing-in-a-Bitcoin-world-07-05
But (still) many people are blinded by nice words about Bitcoin and do not use the brain to think about.

I don’t think it would be a big problem if 20% of the mining power is in the US. The US makes up 5% of world population, so their “fair share” would already be 5%. I don’t endorse what the US is doing geopolitically but there is at least some sort of possibility to enforce your rights there compared to other countries.
When it comes to Saylor, a figure like him was inevitable. The path to hyperbitcoinization was always going to go beyond the original cypherpunks. That being said, I also don’t like him. He demonstrated repeatedly that he does not understand Bitcoin and his vision of what Bitcoin should be I do not endorse. Thankfully, Bitcoin is money for enemies. Let him cook. If he wants to lobby for Bitcoin on every balance sheet, I am for it. If he blows up spectacularly, we get his Bitcoin at a discount.

If US has over 50% of the hashrate they will start censoring Russia or Iran there is no question about that. They will rather want you use their worthless CBDC that you can't own than using Bitcoin.
Saylor wants real bitcoin for himself and the US govt, fake paper bitcoin for US citizens and worthless USD-CBDC for the rest of the world.

If only the US gov and Saylor hold real Bitcoin, real Bitcoin will not be worth much. Even Saylor understands that. His problem is that he sees Bitcoin mainly as a store of value, when it is also a unit of account and a medium of exchange. For his use case, gold would be fine as well since he does not use key properties of Bitcoin at all. I.e fast global settlement.

That's the plan in my opinion. they want to circle the network and control it to their own terms, construct another matrix around Bitcoin.

I totally agree.

I get the frustration and I would certainly be cautious about making a hero out of Saylor.
But let me play devil's advocate. What do you expect him to say? Fuck the gov. Fuck USD. Fuck the banks etc? He is holding 42B worth of Bitcoin for 10s of thousands of shareholders and has a mandate to increase enterprise value for them. Maybe when he becomes as rich as Elon he can pick fights with government agencies and banks but right now he is trying to play in their sand box to raise as much capital as he can.
So again I get the frustration. We want him to act more like a bitcoin maxi but he can't and there is a good chance his views don't totally align with our views anyways.

There are a lot other billionaire holding billions dollars on Bitcoin they are not running around promoting USD stablecoins to go enslave the rest of the world just to redirect attention from themselves or play innocent in the eyes of the devil. Say good morning or not to the devil they still want to eat you. Saylor is playing a very sneaky game he is setting up a very bad sand box with a lot of thorns for bitcoiners to play in.
