I don't think they were actually going to go for it. They were trying to draw them offside and get a free play and they did. If they didn't jump they probably would have taken a timeout and punted.

I bought a bit of Georgia back when they had the ball in the red zone last drive but sold it all right away when they didn't make the fourth down.

Just checked the score of the game... since they just ran back the kickoff is it closer than the score shows or is Georgia SOL?

It was 3-3 with 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Notre Dame got a FG to make it 6-3 and then Georgia fumbled on their own 15 on the next drive and Notre Dame got a TD. Then the return for the TD to start the 2nd half. I don’t think it is over but Georgia needs a stop here to stay in it.
