US secures the 1 seed in group A after scoring 3 power play goals and an empty net goal to beat Canada 4-1.

Game was an absolute ref show. 11 penalties called on Canada, 8 on the US. Canada outshot US 39-29 but US had more scoring opportunities and played much better on the PP.

US faces Sweden in the QF and Canada faces a tough Czech Republic team.

So as someone who is mostly Norwegian, my mom is fully my dad is a mix of Europe including the Nordic countries including Norway, its really Canada and Russia/USSR. They poured the funds into it esp the USSR over others

Canada has been the best team historically but recently the US program has done really well. The Nordic counties are good.

Ok. I just repeated what they said on the broadcast. Maybe the announcer mistakenly said Sweden instead of Switzerland.
